History

The current Clubrooms were built by members and completed in 1974.

The First of the modern era Open Prize Meetings held by the Kapunda Rifle Club was conducted on the 7th May 1967. Click on the link below.

Kapunda Rifle Club’s long history has many facets and even more stories, many lost with time. This page is dedicated to those stories, and will be a work in progress for the foreseeable future…..

Many clubs have closed or merged over the years, including Tanunda, Angaston and others. The heritage, history and traditions are common to all South Australian clubs.
